December round-up!

Jan 7 2010

First of all, happy new year! 2010 has already been a busy year for me, starting with a New Year's Eve performance with Jason Ajemian & the High Life and White Blue Yellow and Clouds, Matt Bauder's doo-woop project, then a recording session on the 3rd and 4th with the High Life and another double-bill with the HL and White Blue Yellow and Clouds. I'm staying in Chicago until the 16th, visiting with my family and playing a few more shows, then heading through Toronto and Montreal to finish off the final leg of ROAD TRIP: drawing a perimeter of the united states.

Announcing ROAD TRIP: drawing a perimeter of the united states

Dear friends and family,

I am writing to let you know about a large-scale performance/project I will be performing this fall and winter, entitled “ROAD TRIP: drawing a perimeter of the united states.” ROAD TRIP will consist of a series of performances, residencies, and collaborative efforts, spanning from October through the middle of February and following a route from New York City down to a residency at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, FL; across the south to Los Angeles, with stops in New Orleans, where I hope to take part in a conference put on by the Alliance of Artist Communities, and Marfa, TX; up the west coast through the San Mendocino Valley and Portland to Seattle; across the Northwest to Chicago; and finally back to Brooklyn with stops in Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Maine.
