Great show last night at Zebulon...opened with a ear-bending set by Andrea Parkins & Ches Smith - some really interesting synth work from Andrea Parkins, samples reminiscent of Ikue Mori's laptop work, which I have a major soft spot (more like a warm fuzzy abyss) for. Then Little Women, who I haven't seen since Andrew Smiley joined the band, rocked the second set. Their sound has actually expanded, I think, which is sort of mind-boggling.
